Steps:
1- (Trimethylsilyl) piperidin-2-one (11)
2-Piperidone (19.8 g, 0.2 mol) and triethylamine (25 g, 0.25 mol) were dissolved in toluene (200 mL), then trimethylchlorosilane (23.9 g, 0.22 mol) was added slowly under N2. Then the mixture was stirred for 4 hours at 50 °C and then cooled to 0 °C. Next, a mixed solution of n-hexane and diethyl ether (V:V=1: 1, 200 mL) was added, filtered and the filtrate was evaporated in vacuo to give 1-(Trimethylsilyl) piperidin-2-one (11) as a colorless oil (29.4 g, 86%).
