Synthesis of XIII
33.74 g (100 mmol) of FMOC-Suc was dissolved in 100 mL of dichloromethane, and 8.25 mL (105 mmol) of 2-(methylamino)ethanol was added to the solution while being cooled with ice, followed by agitating at room temperature overnight. The reaction solution was washed with water, and the dichloromethane solution was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by medium pressure chromatography (ethyl acetate hexane=1:1→1:0), to thereby obtain 28.72 g (97%) of target product XIII.
