Obtained by condensation of a-chloro-3,4- dihydroxy-acetophenone with isopropylamine in isopropanol at 65–70°. The amino ketone which separated was treated with concentrated hydrochloric acid (54%), (46%).

with isopropylamine in toluene at 5 - 25; for 5 h;

200ml of toluene and 100ml of isopropylamine were added to a 500ml four-necked flask, the temperature was lowered to 5°C, 25g of compound A was added, and the temperature was raised to 20-25°C. The reaction was carried out for 5h, and TLC monitored until the reaction was completed.After the reaction is completed, the toluene and isopropylamine are removed by concentration, 100ml of acetone is added, the pH is adjusted by adding hydrochloric acid to 1-2, suction filtered, and the filter cake is dried to obtain 28.1 g of compound B (isopropyl adrenerone hydrochloride), with a purity of 99.56% by HPLC, and a yield of 85.3. %.
