44.1 Step 1) 1-(cyclopropylmethyl)-4-iodo-1H-pyrazole
A mixture of cesium carbonate (4.62 g, 14.18 mmol) , potassium iodide (470 mg, 2.84 mmol) , (bromomethyl) cyclopropane (1.03 g, 6.81 mmol) and 4-iodo-1H-pyrazole (1.10 g, 5.67 mmol) in DMF (20.00 mL) was stirred at 70 for 2.5 h and diluted with water (50 mL) , and then extracted with EtOAc (50 mL × 3) . The combined organic layers were concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography eluted with PE/EtOAc (v/v) 10/1 to give a light yellow oily product (1.31 g, 93.1) .[1446]MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 248.9 [M+1]+.
