12 Preparation of 2-(3-bromophenyl)-1H benzo[d]imidazole
To the reaction tube were added o-phenylenediamine (21.8 mg, 0.2 mmol), benzoic acid (2.4 mg, 0.02 mmol), 2 ml of acetonitrile, and m-bromobenzaldehyde (46.2 mg, 0.25 mmol).Oxygen was introduced at a volume flow rate of 20 mL/min, irradiated with a blue LED lamp, and the reaction was carried out at room temperature for 24 h. After the reaction was completed, a white solid was obtained.The obtained solid was dissolved in ethanol and dry packed into a column.It was separated and purified by column chromatography on silica gel 200 mesh, and the eluent was Vpetroleum ether: Vethyl acetate= 10:1 to obtain 2-(3-bromophenyl)-1H benzo[d]imidazole, white needle-like crystals , the yield is 99%.
