3 Synthesis Example 3: Synthesis of Intermediate I-3
Intermediate I-2 (100 g, 360 mmol) was dissolved in 1.0 L of dimethylformamide (DMF) under a nitrogen environment, and bis(pinacolato)diboron (110 g, 432 mmol), (1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphine)ferrocene)dichloropalladium (II) (2.94 g, 3.60 mmol), and potassium acetate (106 g, 1,080 mmol) were added thereto and then, heated and refluxed at 150° C. for 20 hours. When a reaction was complete, after adding water to the reaction solution, the mixture was filtered and dried in a vacuum oven. This obtained residue was separated and purified through flash column chromatography to obtain Intermediate I-3 (113 g, 85%). (0155) HRMS (70 eV, EI+): m/z calcd for C24H24BNO2: 369.1900, found: 369.
