Steps:

General procedure for the detoyslation reaction.

General procedure: To a suspension solution of NaH (0.4 mmol, 2.0 equiv) in dry DMA (1.0 mL) under N₂ was added dropwise the solution of 4 or 5 (0.2 mmol, 1 equiv) in dry DMA (0.5 mL) by syringe. Then the mixture was heated at 60 °C until TLC showed the completion of the reaction. A saturated solution of NH₄Cl was added to quench the reaction and extracted with EtOAc for one time. The organic layer was washed with water for three times, and the combined aqueous layers were extracted with EtOAc for one time. The combined organic layers were washed with brine and dried over sodium sulfate and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by column chromatography to give corresponding products 3 or 6.
