To a solution of 4-iodo-17/-pyrazole (200 mg, 1.03 mmol), 4-(2- chloroethyl)morpholine (231.40 mg, 1.55 mmol) in DMF (5 mL) was added K2CO3 (427.51 mg, 3.09 mmol) at 20 °C. The mixture was stirred at 90 °C for 12 hrs. The mixture was diluted with H2O and extracted with EtOAc (5x). The combined organic layers were washed with brine (5x), dried over Na2SO4, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure to afford the title compound (250 mg, 78%) as a white solid. MS-ESI (m/z) calc’d for C9H15IN3O [M+H]+:308.0. Found 308.2.
