Add 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (1.38g, 10mmol), potassium hydroxide (1.12g, 20mmol), ethanol (20mL), water (10mL) into a 100mL single-mouth flask, and add 3-fluorobenzyl bromide (3.78g, 20mmol) dropwise ), reflux and react for 8h. After the raw materials are completely reacted, add water (30mL), adjust the pH to 2.0 with concentrated hydrochloric acid, precipitate a solid, filter, wash with water, wash with n-hexane, and dry to obtain solid 3-fluorobenzyloxybenzoic acid (2.38g ), the yield is 97%.
