Steps:

2.3.1. Synthesis of 4-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)phenol (OH-TRZ)

2-chloro-4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazine (1.0 g, 3.7 mmol), 4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenol (1.1 g, 5 mmol), potassiumcarbonate (2 g, 14.5 mmol) and Tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0.2 g, 0.17 mmol) as catalyst were dissolved in mixture solvent with 20mL tetrahydrofuran (THF) and 4 mL H2O. After the stirred in a nitrogenatmosphere for 12 h at 60 C, the reaction mixture was cooled to roomtemperature. Then, the mixture extracted with dichloromethane (30 mL× 3) and dried over anhydrous MgSO4. Finally, the crude product wassubjected to flash column chromatography to give compound OH-TRZ(0.96 g, 80%). 1H NMR (600 MHz, CDCl3, ): 10.35 (s, 1H), 8.75-8.75(t, 4H), 8.57-8.58 (t, 2H), 7.65-7.68 (m, 2H), 7.60-7.62 (m, 4H),6.96-6.98(d, 2H). MS [m/z]: Calcd for C21H15N3O, 325.12; Found,325.37. Anal. Calcd (%) for C21H15N3O: C, 77.52; H, 4.65; N, 12.91.Found; C, 77.49; H, 4.69; N, 12.89.
