General procedure: To a solutionof dimethyl 1-diazo-2-oxopropylphosphonate (1.15 g,6.00 mmol) in MeOH (60 mL) were added the corresponding aldehydes(5.00 mmol) and K2CO3 (1.38 g, 10.0 mmol). The reactionmixture was stirred at room temperature for 12 h. After removingthe volatiles without any heating, alkynes 6e9 were purified byflash chromatography using a mixture of petroleum ether andEtOAc 99/1 as eluent.
