1-[1-(3-methoxy-4-nitrophenyl)piperidin-4-yl]-4-methylpiperazine (0446) To a solution of 5-fluoro-2-nitroanisole (0.5 g, 2.92 mmol) in 3 mL of DMF was added 1-methyl-4-(piperidin)piperazine (0.536 g, 2.92 mmol) and potassium carbonate (0.808, 5.84 mmol). The mixture was heated at 120° C. for 18 h. The mixture was basified with saturated sodium bicarbonate solution and extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was purified by chromatography to give final product as yellow solid (0.95 g, 95% yield). MS/ES+: m/z=334.
