4 Step 4: Synthesis of Intermediate 01-09-6
To a stirred solution of 01-09-5 (10 g, 0.022 mol) in l,4-dioxane (50 mL) at RT was added slowly 4 M HC1 in l,4-dioxane (23 mL, 0.091 mol). The resulting mixture was stirred at RT. After 16 h, the reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by trituration in diethyl ether, affording 01-09-6 as an off-white solid (15.2 g, 79.5%)
