4.2 General procedure for the synthesis of compounds 1a-o
General procedure: A mixture of isoniazid (1.0mmol), the respective aldehyde (1.0mmol) and one drop of glacial acetic acid in ethanol (6mL) was magnetic stirred under microwave irradiation for 45min (140°C, 1000rpm). The reaction mixture was filtered off and the solid was recrystallized with ethanol. The synthesis pathway is shown on scheme 1.
