4.2. General procedure for O-acylation of phenols in TfOH
General procedure: Phenol (0.28 mmol) and acyl chloride (0.84 mmol, 3 equiv) were dissolved in 1% TfOH/CH₃CN (1 ml) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was stirred at same temperature for an hour, then poured into cold water and ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with 1 M HCl, saturated NaHCO₃, and saturated NaCl, and dried over MgSO₄, then filtered. The filtrate was concentrated to afford O-acylated products.
