Glycerol triglycidyl ether is widely used as viscosity-reducing diluents for epoxy resins and alkyd resins, as stabilizers for organochlorine compounds such as pesticides and herbicides, and as resin modifiers. Glycidyl ether is mainly used as a reactive diluent for epoxy resins, as well as in coatings, adhesives, and electrical components. Glycidyl allyl ether can be used as a flame-retardant modifier for unsaturated polyester resins.
