[Uses]

Naphtanilide EL is suitable for dyeing fibers such as cotton, viscose, and nylon, but is generally not used for printing. It has a high affinity for cotton. It is a base agent for dyeing red, and can be coupled with maroon base GP and scarlet base GGS to obtain red, and coupled with maroon base GBC to obtain maroon. It is also used as an intermediate for organic pigments and as a dye for ice dyeing.

[Properties and Applications]

white brown powder, melting point 218 ℃. Soluble in water and ethanol, soluble in lye. Mainly used for cotton fabrics, viscose and polyamide fiber dyeing, general is not used for cotton yarn and cotton cloth printing, the high affinity to cotton.
