Dioctyl(maleate)tin is used as a heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC), exhibiting excellent long-term thermal stability and good light stability. It is particularly suitable for high-grade transparent non-toxic twisted films, smoked films, and rigid transparent products. It has a synergistic effect when used in combination with thiol-based di-n-octyltin, with a typical dosage of 0.5-3%. This product has low toxicity (oral LD50 in rats is 4550 mg/kg), but it is irritating to the skin and eyes. | [reaction suitability]
