GENERAL STEPS: All catalytic reactions were carried out in 10 mL flat-bottomed tubes without inert gas protection. 1-Octene (4.0 mmol) was added to the dry reaction tube with an appropriate amount of catalyst and stirred for 5 minutes. Subsequently, trimethoxysilane (4.4 mmol) was added and the reaction mixture was heated to a set temperature and stirred for the indicated time. After completion of the reaction, it was cooled to room temperature. The product phase was separated by decantation, and the conversion of 1-octene and the selectivity of octyltrimethoxysilane were analyzed using an Agilent 26890N/59731 GC-MS system equipped with a DB-5 column (30 m × 2.5 mm × 0.25 μm). The 1H NMR (400 MHz) and 13C NMR (100.6 MHz) spectra of the products were recorded on a Bruker Advance spectrometer using tetramethylsilane (TMS) as an internal standard and the solvents were methanol-d4 or DMSO-d6. | [References]
