A method for preparing 3-Nitro-2-pyridinol includes the following steps: (1) adding nitric acid dropwise to 2-hydroxypyridine dissolved in pyridine, placing the reaction flask containing the 2-hydroxypyridine solution in an ice bath, removing the reaction flask after the dropwise addition is complete, and stirring the reaction at room temperature for 20-40 minutes; (2) concentrating the pyridine in the reaction flask to half its volume, repeating step (1) 3-5 times, adding alkali to the resulting mixture until neutral, and then post-processing to obtain 3-Nitro-2-pyridinol. |
