When heated to temperatures greater than 302° F, DIMETHYL METHYLPHOSPHONATE(756-79-6) will act as an alkylating agent with basic nitrogen compounds and phenols. DIMETHYL METHYLPHOSPHONATE(756-79-6) reacts with enol lactones.
