An organic peroxide which constitutes 60-80% of oil of chenopodium. Anthelmintic.

Definition

Hazard

Strong oxidizing agent, explodes on heating to 130C or in contact with organic acids.

Safety Profile

Poison by ingestion. Questionable carcinogen with experimental neoplastigenic and tumorigenic data. Flammable by spontaneous chemical reaction. An oxidizer.
