Macleaya cordata extract Chemical Properties,Uses,Production
Description
Macleaya cordata extract is a green pollution-free plant extract. Macleaya cordata extract contains several alkaloids including sanguinarine,chelerythrine, protopine, and allocryptopine. Sanguinarine & chelerythrine are the main components of it, which have fungicidal and insecticidal activity. Sanguinarine is a potent inhibitor of NF-kappaB activation, IkappaBalpha phosphorylation, and degradation. It was been shown to be reversible inhibitors of the enzymatic hydrolysis of acetylthiocholine.
Macleaya cordata extract, registered under the name of the fungicide Qwel (Camas Technologies Inc.), induces increased amounts of polyphenolic phytoalexines, as well as systemic acquired resistance (Copping, 2009).
Uses
Macleaya Cordata Extract can be widely used in feed additive, bacteriostatic agent, pesticides, veterinary drugs, disinfectant, etc.
1. It has effect on detoxifying and eliminating swelling.
2. It can improve the liver function and incrase immunity.
3. It has the function of anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and antiviral.
4. It has the function of insecticide, to some extent, it can effectively inhibit bacteria and fungi.
