General procedure: fac-Ir(ppy)3 (2 mg, 0.003 mmol) and NEt3 (282 L, 2 mmol) were added to a solution ofaromatic halide (1 mmol) in DMSO (2 mL). The mixture was irradiated at room temperaturewith blue LED for 15-40 h (the reaction time is shown in Scheme 3). The work-up is thesame as in General Procedure 1
