Stage #2: methyl iodide in tetrahydrofuran at 20; for 15 h;Inert atmosphere;
Steps:
1.2.2 (2) Synthesis of 1,2-dimethyl-3-bromoindole
3.5 mmol of 2-methyl-3-bromoindole was dissolved in 10 mL of THF under nitrogen, and stirred for 10 minutes.Add 5 mmol of NaH, stir at room temperature for 30 minutes, add 5 mmol of CH3I, and stir at room temperature for 15 hours.After the reaction was completed, 20 mL of water was added, and the mixture was extracted with diethyl ether for 3 times, then dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate and evaporated.The product 1,2-dimethyl-3-bromoindole was obtained in a 97% yield.
