Methyl 3-thienylcarboxylate (1.42 g, 10 mmol) was dissolved in 30 mL THF.An aqueous solution (10 ml) of NaOH (0.8 g, 20 mmol) was added at room temperature.The reaction was stirred at 60 °C.TLC testing,After the reaction was completed, it was cooled to room temperature and made acidic with 2M hydrochloric acid.Extracted with ethyl acetate (3 x 30 ml),After the organic phase is combined,Water separately,Saturated saline solution,Dry over anhydrous sodium sulfate.Rotating to remove the solvent,To obtain a crude product of 3-thienylcarbonyl chloride,Can be used directly in the next step.
