Steps:
Then, a compound (j) was obtained according to the following scheme. Specifically, 4.4 g (20 mmol) of a compound (i) shown below and 70 mL of 3-pentanone were charged in a 200-mL round-bottomed flask in a nitrogen atmosphere, and stirred at room temperature, and thereafter 4.13 g (25 mmol) of C6H13Br and 4.14 g (30 mmol) of K2CO3 were further added thereto, and refluxed in an oil bath at 120°C for 11 hours. After the temperature of the mixture was returned to room temperature, a solid remaining therein was removed by suction filtration. A filtrate after the removal of the solid was concentrated under reduced pressure to thereby obtain a brown oily material, and then, the oily material was vacuum-dried at 80°C to quantitatively obtain 6.87 g of a solid compound (j). The structure of the compound (j) was identified by 1H-NMR (CDCl3).
