;To a solution of 24e (1.05 g, 5 mmol) in MeOH (20 mL) was added 10% Pd/C (0.37 g, 0.35 mmol) followed by the addition of HCO2NH4 (1.9 g, 30 mmol).
The solution was stirred at rt for 1 h.
The solution was filtered through a pad of Celite and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure.
The residue was dissolved in EtOAc and filtered through a pad of SiO2 to afford 25e as an off-white solid (0.89 g, quant.).
