To a RBF (2000 ml_) was added compound A (100g, 0.495mol), Cul (1 g) and Pd(PPh3)2CI2(2.5g), followed by the addition of Et3N (1000 ml_). The mixture was purged with N2 for 10 min. Then Ethynyl-trimethyl- silane (58g, 0.591 mol) was added dropwise. The mixture was stirred for 4 hours The Et3N was removed on vacuum. The residue diluted with water, Extracted with MTBE, washed with water, concentrated on vacuum to give the desired product which was used for next step. (108g, 99%)
