Diethyl 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl phosphate is a phosphorus-containing hindered phenolic antioxidant with excellent extraction resistance. It is particularly suitable for preventing aging in polyesters. It is generally added before polycondensation because it acts as a catalyst for polyester polycondensation. It can also be used as a light stabilizer in polyamides and has antioxidant properties. It has a synergistic effect when used with UV absorbers. The usual dosage is 0.3-1.0 parts. This product can also be used as a stabilizer for dimethyl terephthalate during storage and transportation. It has low toxicity. The oral LD50 in mice is >5000 mg/kg. | [Flammability and Explosibility]
