将3-甲氧基肉桂酸(8)(3.56 g,19.98 mmol)溶于甲醇(100 mL)中,加入10% Pd/C催化剂(0.44 g)。在室温下,将混合物在氢气(气球)氛围中搅拌12小时。反应完成后,通过硅藻土(Celite)过滤反应混合物,并用乙酸乙酯(3×30 mL)洗涤硅藻土。合并滤液,减压蒸发除去乙酸乙酯和甲醇,得到3-(3-甲氧基苯基)丙酸(10)(3.59 g,19.7 mmol,定量收率)。产物经1H NMR(CDCl3, 600 MHz)和13C NMR(CDCl3, 150 MHz)表征,数据如下:1H NMR δ 11.93(1H, s),7.27(1H, t, J = 7.5 Hz),6.88(2H, m),6.83(1H, d, J = 8 Hz),3.79(3H, s),2.99(2H, t, J = 7 Hz),2.73(2H, t, J = 7 Hz);13C NMR δ 179.2, 159.9, 142.0, 129.6, 120.7, 114.2, 111.6, 54.9, 35.5, 30.6。
