以2'-(1H-咪唑-1-基)-2,4-二氯苯乙酮为原料合成alpha-(2,4-二氯苯基)-1H-咪唑-1-乙醇的一般步骤:在配备有搅拌器、温度计和滴液漏斗的1000 mL三颈烧瓶中,加入102 g 2'-(1H-咪唑-1-基)-2,4-二氯苯乙酮(0.4 mol)和300 mL甲醇。分批加入硼氢化钾,缓慢加热至回流。反应完成后,继续搅拌1小时,并通过薄层色谱(TLC)监测反应进程(展开剂为乙酸乙酯:甲醇=10:1,v/v)。反应结束后,减压蒸馏回收甲醇。将浓缩液用5%盐酸溶液调节pH至4-5,随后进行抽滤。滤液用5%碳酸氢钠溶液调节pH至7-8,此时有白色固体析出。抽滤收集固体,用水洗涤,干燥后进行重结晶,得到93.1 g 1-(2,4-二氯苯基)-2-(1H-咪唑-1-基)乙醇,产率为90.5%,熔点为134-135℃。
