     Gliclazide is the second generation of sulfonylurea oral hypoglycemic drugs, which has the dual effects of lowering blood glucose and improving coagulation function. It can not only improve the metabolism of diabetic patients, but also improve or delay the occurrence of diabetic vascular complications. It is mainly used for mild and medium type II diabetes mellitus with no ketosis tendency and ineffective diet and exercise control after adult onset. It can also improve fundus lesions and metabolic and vascular dysfunction in diabetic patients. It can be combined with oral hypoglycemic drugs of biguidine and insu'lin in the treatment of insu'lin-dependent diabetes mellitus, which can reduce the dosage of insu'lin.
Application:
1. Hypoglycemic effect: this product is the second generation of oral sulfonylurea hypoglycemic drugs, and its effect is more than 10 times stronger than toluenbulurea. The mechanism of action is to stimulate pancreatic beta cells to release insu'lin, so that hyperglycemia dropped. This may be due to sulfonylureas binding to receptors on the surface of beta cells, increasing their activation and increasing the sensitivity of peripheral target tissues to insu'lin.
2. Reduce platelet aggregation and adhesion, and prevent fibrin deposition on microvessels.
3. Reduce cholesterol accumulation and plasma concentrations of arterial triphosphate triglycerides and fatty acids. The three functions, in addition to the treatment of metabolic disorders of diabetes, but also prevention and treatment of diabetes complications - vascular, retinal, renal lesions and the occurrence and development.
