Application and preparation of tiamulin fumarate

Introduction

Tiamulin fumarate is a new type of semi-fermented semi-synthetic diterpenoid antibiotic for animals. It achieves antibacterial effect by interfering with microbial ribosomes and inhibiting microbial protein synthesis. It has special effects on a variety of Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma, and is mainly used for acute and chronic respiratory diseases, Mycoplasma suis pneumonia and Haemophilus pleuropneumonia. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC) have been reported for the determination of tiamulin fumarate. -MS) method, liquid chromatography-diode array ultraviolet spectroscopy-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-DAD-ESI-MS) technology and other methods.

Curative Effect of Tiamulin Fumarate Soluble Powder against Mycoplasmosis of Swine

The research aimed to evaluate the curative effect of tiamulin fumarate soluble powder against mycoplasmosis of swine. tiamulin fumarate soluble powder were added in drinking water to treat swines with Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. The curative effect of tiamulin fumarate soluble powder against mycoplasmosis of swine was studied. Compared with Zhiyuanjing control group，the efficient rate，curative rate, the improvement rate of lung damage，relative daily weighting rate，feed-meat rate in groupⅡ, Ⅲ of tiamulin fumarate soluble powder were basically same with Zhiyuanjing. The efficient rate and curative rate in the group of 60 mg /L tiamulin fumarate soluble powder were 100 % and 95 % respectively. And the efficient rate and curative rate in the group of 45 mg /L tiamulin fumarate soluble powder were 95 % and 90 % respectively. The commended mixing dosage of tiamulin fumarate soluble powder in drinking water was 45-60 mg /L[1].

Application

All the therapeutic groups of chickens were medicated for5successive days via drinking water of timulin fumarate312．5mg／L‚468mg／L‚625mg／L and tylosin tartrate of 500mg／L‚respectively．The other group was unmedicated as infected control．There were signifi[1]cant differences （P＜0．01） in curative rate‚the gain each day‚the feed conversion and the mean lesion scores in medicated groups comparing with the infective control group．The average gain in body weigh per day in the high dosage group of timulin fumarate was higher than that in the low dosage group（P＜0．05）‚and was very different from the other groups（ P＜0．01）．The feed conversion in the high dosage of timulin fumarate was very different from that in the other groups with P＜0．01．The feed conversion ratio in tylosin tartrate group was very different from that in the other groups （ P＜0．01）except the low dosage group．The experiment showed that the high dosage group of timulin fumarate could decrease the mean lesion scores and increase the feed conversion rate[2]．

Preparation

The invention provides a homogeneous tiamulin fumarate granule and a preparation method thereof. The homogeneous tiamulin fumarate granule comprises, by weight, 5-80% of tiamulin fumarate and 20-95% of minor ingredients selected from one or more of hydrogenated soybean oil, hydroxypropyl cellulose, glyceryl monostearate, stearic acid, solid lipid, wax, epoxy resin, melamine resin and solid-state polyethylene glycol. The preparation method includes heating the minor ingredients at the temperature of 55-80 DEG C to melt with stirring uniformly; subjecting the tiamulin fumarate and the molten minor ingredients to mixed shearing and stirring uniformly so as to obtain a mixed liquor; spraying to condense and granulate so as to obtain the homogeneous tiamulin fumarate granule. The homogeneous tiamulin fumarate granule prepared from the preparation method has the advantages that the homogeneous tiamulin fumarate granule is high in major ingredient homogeneity, thereby being a homogeneous body integrally; the homogeneous tiamulin fumarate granule is smooth in surface, so that mobility and dispersity of the homogeneous tiamulin fumarate granule are improved, and the homogeneous tiamulin fumarate granule is mixed easily when being used[3].
