Steps:

6.4 Silylation of Thiophene
[0130] Experiments conducted with thiophene under Condition A, resulted in a 1:4 ratio of mono:bis silylated product, in 70% combined yield, as determined by 1H NMR. ‘H NMR for mono (300 MHz, CDC13), 3: 7.59 (m, 1H), 7.29-7.24 (m, 1H), 7.19 (dd, J = 4.6, 3.3 Hz, 1H), 0.34 (s, 9H). ‘HNMRforbis (300 JVII-Tz, CDC13), 6: 7.34 (s, 2H), 0.34 (s, 18H).
