Soc., 1989, 111, 6311; Tetrahedron 1985, 41, 1435) and trimethyl borate1 using the procedure of Preparation 101. δ(DMSOd6): 3.27 (s,3H), 4.38 (s,2H), 7.31 (m,2H), 7.68 (m,2H), 7.98 (brs,2H).
