Steps:

1-2 Preparation of p-chlorophenethylamine (IM1)
In a 250mL three-necked flask, add 15.16g (0.10mol) p-chlorobenzeneacetonitrile, add 180mL of co-catalyst ethanol, then add 5.87g (0.10mol) Raney Ni, 16.18g (0.30mol) KBH4, stir at 25°C, after 2h When the reaction is complete, stop stirring, filter with suction, remove the ethanol by rotary evaporation, add 200 mL of ethyl acetate, 200 mL of water, and 6 mol/L hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH to 1, separate the ethyl acetate layer, and add 200 mL of ethyl acetate to the water layer. Adjust the pH to 13 with 40percent NaOH, separate the ethyl acetate layer, extract the aqueous layer with 200 mL ethyl acetate, combine the ethyl acetate layers, add anhydrous sodium sulfate to dry, filter with suction, and remove ethyl acetate by rotary evaporation to obtain Pale yellow oily liquid 14.32g, yield 92.0percent.
