Steps:
4-(Piperazin-l-ylsulfonyl)aniline
To a solution of l-((4-nitrophenyl)sulfonyl)piperazine (9.90 g, 36.5 mmol) in CH3OH (400 ml), 10% Pd/C (2.00 g, 1.9 mmol) was added and the resulting suspension was stirred under H2 atmosphere at RT for 2 h. The suspension was filtered through a pad of Celite, the pad was washed with CH3OH and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to give title compound as a white solid. Yield: 8.35 g, 94%. LC/MS (ESI) m/z: 242 [M+H]+. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCI3) d 7.58 - 7.46 (m, 2H), 6.74 - 6.63 (m, 2H), 4.12 (s, 2H), 2.98-2.88 (m, 8H), 1.47 (br s, 1H).
