Yield:103-90-2 99%

Reaction Conditions:

with silica gel for 0.5 h;Milling;Time;

Steps:

Paracetamol (6):

A 10 mL teflon jar was charged with 4-aminophenol (p-2c) (218.3 mg, 2.0 mmol) and silica (250mg). Acetic anhydride (Ac2O) was added using a pipette(204.2 mg, 189 μL, 2.0 mmol) and the mixture was milled at30 Hz for 30 minutes. The crude mixture was left in a fume hood to allow acetic acidto evaporate and was then suspended in 10 mL of methanol. After filtration andevaporation, paracetamol (6) was isolated. FTIR-ATR analysis confirmed that 6 wasidentical to the reference sample of paracetamol provided by Pliva TAPI. 298 mg(99%);
