Yield:106-91-2 93.5%

Reaction Conditions:

with 4-methoxy-phenol at 85; for 5 h;Inert atmosphere;Reagent/catalyst;Temperature;

Steps:

1.3; 2.3; 3.3; 1 (3) Synthesis of glycidyl methacrylate

To the 2L reactor, add 411g of methacrylic acid, 1076g of epichlorohydrin, 19.8g of quaternary ammonium type strongly basic anion exchange resin, 1.2 g of p-hydroxyanisole, replaced with nitrogen three times, the temperature of the reaction kettle was raised to 85 °C, and the heating and stirring were turned off after stirring and holding for 5 hours. After the temperature in the reactor was lowered to room temperature, samples were taken for GC analysis, and the conversion rate of methacrylic acid was 99.9%. The target product, glycidyl methacrylate, has a selectivity of 93.6% and a yield of 93.5%, and is purified by column chromatography to obtain a pure product.
