Steps:
1 Step 1 : N,N-Dibenzyl-4-bromoaniline
Sodium carbonate (305 mmol) was added to a solution of 4-bromoaniline (102 mmol) in DMF (150 mL) and the reaction mixture was stirred, followed by the drop wise addition of benzyl bromide (224 mmol). The reaction mixture was heated at 80 °C for 5 hours. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was filtered and the residue was washed with EtOAc. The filtrate was evaporated to obtain the title compound. Yield: 98%; JH NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 7.37-7.32 (m, 4H), 7.29-7.22 (m, 8H), 6.62(d, J=9Hz, 2H), 4.64 (s, 4H); MS: 352
