General procedure for the synthesis of N-ethyl-2-aminomethylpyrrolidine from 1-ethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde: 60 g of 1-ethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde was added to an autoclave, and 5 g of palladium-carbon catalyst at a mass percent concentration of 5% and 15 g of liquid ammonia were added to carry out hydrogenation and reductive amination reactions. The reaction conditions were hydrogen pressure of 35 kg and temperature of 95°C. After completion of the reaction, the system was cooled, the gas was expelled, and filtration was carried out. The filter cake was washed with methanol, and the filtrate and washings were combined to recover methanol. Finally, the target product N-ethyl-2-aminomethylpyrrole was obtained by purification via decompression distillation in a yield of 53.7 g and 86%. The reaction equation was as follows: | [References]
