Ethyl 4-acetylbenzoate is also used as a reagent to synthesize chiral hydrazines (e.g. (S)-[2-(Benzyloxy)propylidene]hydrazinecarboxaldehyde [B288000]) from the catalytic enantioselective hydrogenation of N-alkoxycarbonyl hydrazones. |
