Description
Dexrazoxane is an intracellular iron chelator and an inhibitor of topoisomerase IIα. Through these activities, dexazoxane is highly protective in reducing anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity and extravasation injury. Dexrazoxane has also been shown to act as an antioxidant that scavenges hydroxyl (IC50 = 2.1 mM), superoxide (IC50 = 0.4 mM), lipid (IC50 = 4.4 mM), 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (IC50 = 3.5 μM), and 2,2’-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (IC50 = 3.8 mM) free radicals.More related product prices
