Add 105 g of dimethyl carbonate, 15 g (0.0.1351 mol) of o-fluoroaniline, and 1.5 g of catalyst basic molecular sieve NaY into a 250 ml reaction flask, stir and heat up to reflux under normal pressure, and reflux time is 11-12 hours.The reaction process is followed by GC to the disappearance of the raw materials, which is regarded as the end of the reaction.Then, the material was cooled to room temperature and filtered to remove the catalyst. After the filtrate was rectified under normal pressure on a 20-30cm rectification column to remove the solvent to the end,That is, 16.79 g of N-methyl o-fluoroaniline is obtained, the GC purity is 99.2%, the yield after rectification is 99.4%, and the by-product N,N-dimethyl o-fluoroaniline is 0.29%.
