4.1.11. Synthesis of 2H-benzo[e][1,2,4]thiadiazine 1,1-dioxide (10a)
A suspension 2-aminobenzenesulfonamide 9 (1.7 g, 1.0 equiv) in triethyl orthoformate (15 ml) was refluxed until consumption of starting material (TLC monitoring). The reaction mixture was cooled to rt and the obtained precipitate was collected by filtration, washed with Et2O (3 *10 ml) and dried under vacuum to obtain titled compound 10a as a white solid.
