Steps:
1-3 Preparation of 3-phenoxypropanol
Acetonitrile (376mL), phenol (47.0g, 0.50mol),Potassium carbonate (75.9g, 0.55mol) and 3-bromopropanol (76.5g, 0.55mol) were added to the reaction, heated with stirring to 65-70°C for 9h;The reaction solution was cooled to room temperature, filtered under reduced pressure, and the filtrate was recovered under reduced pressure;Ethyl acetate (400 mL) was added to the residue, stirred and dissolved, washed with 5% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, and then washed with water until neutral.The organic phase was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and filtered, and the filtrate was recovered under reduced pressure to obtain ethyl acetate, to obtain an oily substance 71.5g, yield 94.1%; HPLC purity 98.6%.
