Steps:



LA esterification was carried out in a 15 mL pressuretube. In a typical experiment, LA (0.116 g) was mixed in ethanol (3 mL) and 0.05 g of catalyst was added in the tube.The reaction mixture was heated to desired temperature andmagnetically stirred at 350 rpm. After completion of thereaction, the reaction mixture was centrifuge to remove thecatalyst. The products were analysed by a Gas chromatographwith DB-5 capillary column (M/s Shimadzu, Japan)equipped with flame ionization detector (FID).
