-

Yield:71-47-6 96%

Reaction Conditions:

with zinc aluminate;hydrogen;potassium hydroxide at 50; for 5 h;Reagent/catalyst;

Steps:

3. Catalytic hydrogenation of CO2

CO2 hydrogenation began according to the previously announced technique [50]. The catalyst (5 mg) and 1 M KOH solution (15 ml) were added to a 200 ml high-pressure stainless steel reactor vessel. In order to evacuate the air, the reactor vessel was washed 3 times with nitrogen gas. Next, the reactor vessel was pressurized with H2 and CO2 gases(10:10, CO2/H2) at r.t.. The reactor vessel was warmed up to 50 °C and stirred at 300 rpm. After 5 h of reaction, the product was well produced.Upon the completion of the reaction, the heater was separated and the reactor was cooled at r.t. Finally, the reactor was depressurized, the reaction mass was collected in a sample vial, and centrifuged to eliminate the catalyst.
